What do you mean "Adventure Raid"?
Glad you asked! This is a hybrid style Adventure Ride Mixed in with a Rally Raid. We take roads and trails that are specifically Adventure Bike friendly and add the component of Road Book Navigation. The idea is to get that taste of what riders experience in some of the cross country rallies held in some of the most remote places on earth.
Ok, what do I need to have?
Great question, not a lot actually! Here is the list:
-Street Legal Adventure Bike with Current Reg and Insurance
-Road Book Holder (Full Size or Half)
-Smart Phone with Odometer App installed
-Safety Gear (because motorcycle)
-Full Tank of Gas
-Working Odometer on motorcycle (for scoring)
- Camping Gear for over night stay (location dependent)

Wait, Road Book Holder?
The Road Book Holder, simple tool designed to hold the Road Book and allows to you "scroll" through it as you complete the notes. Road Book holders can be purchased at Rally Moto Shop, there are two manual options that will work both made by F2R; the RB801 and RB701. (Pictured Below) These can be mounted using an AMPS mount Ram Ball setup or the Adventure Navigation Kit also available at Rally Moto Shop.
Is there a winner?
Yes, but technically could be multiple winners. Why? Well, this event is not timed, there are checkpoints along the way to check in at and get your card stamped and when you reach the end we will check you back in and note the odometer mileage and points will then be added for each tenth over the total road book mileage. Like golf, lowest points wins.
Ok, but how do you read a road book?
No worries, it's pretty basic and we are making our books basic and beginner friendly. We will be holding classes before the event with a short loop to practice your new skill.
